Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in the United States. She is most famous for her character Skyler White in The AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before taking on film and television parts. Anna received her breakthrough in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. She continued to appear as a guest star in a few TV shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 90's when she appeared in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn took the stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part podcast of audio plays called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler are mirrored in the show.
